PGA TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP BETTING TIPS

It's all come down to the 2009 PGA Tour Championship to settle things off after a very big and very surprising year for Golf. Needless to say, Tiger Woods is a very strong favourite here, having destroyed the competition the last time he played this course, virtually lapping the competition by securing an eight stroke victory. Ladbrokes have Woods listed at a very solid 2.0- indicating him as the definitive favourite. This is absolutely Tiger Woods tournament to lose as his closest competition is Jim Furyk and Padraig Harrington at a lengthy 15.0. You'll find Steve Stricker in the hunt at 17.0 while Zac Johnson sits at 21.0. Phil Mickelson will be in solid contention and I like his 26.0 price- good value for money. Other notables include Retief Goosen at 26.0, Y.E Yang at 81.0, Mike Weir is listed at a 51.0 price while Geoff Ogilvy is available at an enticing 41.0- I think he's a very solid each-way wager. Heath Slocum has done well on the FedEx Cup rankings and he is 101.0 to win this tournament- another excellent each-way selection. Currently, the way that things are shaping up is that five golfers are in with a shout to win the FedEx Cup and all five of them can do it should they win this tournament and have the other four finish in low positions. There is going to be a very tactical approach needed on Saturday and Sunday, but I fancy Tiger Woods' resiliency to win the day. I'm backing him for both the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup. Additionally, be sure to check out Ladbrokes Famous 2-Ball Betting market! I've got my eye on Tiger Woods/Steve Stricker with Woods at a solid 1.5! Phil Mickelson vs Geoff Ogilvy is another great pairing! It all goes down this weekend and it's yours for the taking at Ladbrokes!
