After the Kentucky Derby result it's hard to be confident about predicting the result of any horse race, but there has to be a big chance that Afleet Alex can turn around the Derby form with Churchill Downs hero Giacomo.Beaten a length into third in the first leg of the Triple Crown, Afleet Alex is 9/4 favourite for Saturday's second-leg. However, though clear-cut favourite he's not clear-cut to win and High Fly is my pick. Trained by Nick Zito, who endured a miserable Derby with the defeat of favourite Bellamy Road, he's been pleasing connections in work-outs on the track, and his Derby run (10th) is better than it looks.
