The newly promoted hosts come into the fixture with a 9/5 margin while Everton can be backed with a 7/5 listing at the time of this writing. It will be interesting to see how the odds shift around in the build-up to the match but Everton will certainly be going into it as the outright favourites. The draw sits at a 23/10 margin.
Crystal Palace are odds-on for the win against Newcastle and you’ll find the Eagles at an 8/11 margin while the Magpies sit at a 15/4 listing. The draw trades at 11/4 and there is a lot to like about the way this one is shaping up for the hosts, who are in good nick at the moment.
Manchester City take on Southampton in a match that might have a bit more spice to it thanks to City recently slipping up and dropping out of top spot - only to be usurped by Manchester United and Leicester City. City are the hosts for this big clash against a team of very competent giant-killers and they trade at a pretty competitive 1/2 price tag that will surely tempt some punters but most on accumulator wagers and cheeky doubles.
Look for Southampton at a 5/1 price to get the away victory in a match that really could see them open up the scoring and get City on the back foot. They aren’t at their best when they are unable to dictate play so a good performance here from Southampton could certainly deliver the points for the south coasters.
Sunderland will be hosting Stoke but go into as the distinct underdogs with an 11/5 price tag against Stoke City’s 13/10 margin. The Potters look good value for the victory here as this is the type of away fixture that they are typically able to win but the neutrals might be tempted by the 11/5 draw, which would be likely if Sunderland can get the crowd behind them early.
