PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING TIPS FOR OCTOBER 31
Arsenal vs TottenhamThis is the most interesting fixture on Saturday if you're looking at traditional rivalries. The early match has Spurs at a whopping 5/1 to best Arsenal. The Gunners are listed at 4/7 with the draw at 14/5. I like Spurs and think they're going to have a banner year. I think Peter Crouch to score anytime at 9/4 and both teams backed to win 2-1 at 13/2 and 14/1 is my selection here.Bolton vs ChelseaChelsea showed what they can do in the Carling Cup fixture mid-week. I don't expect much difference here, and Chelsea will likely start with a very high-end side and finish with a few reserves out there. The Blues are at 2/5 while Bolton are 15/2. The draw pays 10/3, but I'll be using Chelsea as part of my accumulator.Burnley vs HullThis is another big 6 pointer and I could see Phil Brown getting the boot if Hull really get worked here. The Tigers are at 3/1 and really should be doing better. Burnley know that this one is theirs to win, but its tough to play against a team with their back to the wall as much as Hull does. I think a 0-0 draw is about right and 12/5 is the current price.Everton vs Aston VillaEverton have had a poor year by their standards and we're not sure if they'll really get together and click anytime soon. They are short-priced at 7/5 while Martin O'Neill's men are listed at 19/10. I'm not sure about the result, but I'll be backing Gabby Agbonlahor and Louis Saha to get on the scoresheet at 6/4 each.Fulham vs LiverpoolLiverpool were part of one of the best Carling Cup matches in years on Wednesday and they'll look to get back to winning ways against Fulham, who haven't had a particularly outstanding season if you compare them to last year. Liverpool are 17/20 and should have Torres starting. Fulham are 10/3 and that's good odds on a home side. However, I will be using Liverpool in my accumulator.Portsmouth vs WiganWigan have had a rough week and they'll fancy the trip to Pompey who just don't seem to have the luck necessary to get the job done. They are teetering on the title of "crisis club" and this is a tough one to gauge. I think Wigan should pull it off and their 19/10 odds sweeten the deal.Stoke vs WolvesThis one should be a real fixture. I don't think it will be one for the purists, but I expect a spirited match all around. Wolves are listed at 3/1 while Stoke are odds-on favourites at 10/11. I think that is a bit too short of a price, but Stoke have played well this year. I think that the 12/5 draw is likely, but we just haven't seen too many of them this year.Sunderland vs West HamSunderland still have question marks over Bent's fitness and that may work against them here. West Ham have been the picture of inconsistency and I think that while 19/20 isn't as long as I'd like, Sunderland are the rightful favourites with the Stadium of Light becoming a difficult place to visit. I think Steve Bruce's men should have enough to win the day.Manchester United vs BlackburnUnited are an extremely short 1/6 with Blackburn's Swine Flu stricken side listed at a lengthy 18/1. Fergie has a real injury crisis starting to develop, but the depth he has at his disposal becomes genuinely obvious in fixtures like this. I expect Michael Owen to be given an extended run of games after his vintage finish in mid-week. I'll be backing Owen to score first in a 4-0 victory at 22/1.
