Right now, punters will find Arsenal trading at a 9/2 margin for the league title and while it is still definitely a possibility - it is only early March - the fact remains that they are going to need to step up and get results against a lot of teams they just don’t look capable of beating when the pressure is on.

Arsenal have been a team that wins when they don’t have to and loses or draws when they really need to for quite some time. That appears to have done in their chances again this year. 

Manchester City had been the bookmakers favourite for most of the season - a fact exacerbated when Chelsea began to slip up dramatically at the start of the season once things got underway. There is a lot to like about this team but the announcement of Pep Guardiola as manager seemed to have put a bit of a halt on their good recent run of form and they have been a bit inconsistent since then. At any other time you would have thought this offered up ample opportunity for City’s big stars to step up and get the job done but they appear to have their eyes firmly fixed on next year with Champions League qualification the only real goal at this point. 

Manchester City are available at 11/2 and that price could rise as Leicester pile on more wins and City face some tricky upcoming fixtures. 

Manchester United are the only other side with a plausible price listed and they are a full 100/1 margin to get the Premier League title this year after dropping points in an abysmal 1-0 result against West Brom. Van Gaal is trending closer to the exit door every day and things appear to be going from bad to worse at Old Trafford.
