The Friday night contest sees Aston Villa taking on Everton and it looks like the Villains are expected to struggle quite a bit this year since their side doesn’t look like it has had any time to gel. After being promoted from the Championship they went out and purchased an almost entirely new side but look to be a step behind in terms of organization.
Despite being the hosts in that contest they come in with a lengthy price of around 12/5 to get the victory over the Toffees and, if they are able to get anything from this match-up, then they will be looking at this as a big accomplishment.
Everton are their usual selves and should be able to muster up a victory here though a disappointing 1-1 draw wouldn’t really be a massive surprise to anybody. They come into this contest with a decent price of about 29/20 that could wind up looking real value if they are able to put a few past this vulnerable Aston Villa side on Friday evening.
On Saturday, Norwich and Chelsea get things off to a pretty intense start with a London Derby set to unfold as Chelsea have had a really tough start to the season under new manager Frank Lampard - who really has appeared a bit out of his depth in the opening two contests of the English Premier League.
Chelsea come into the contest as the away side but they will bring a lot of home support with them and you can expect them to put in a good shift if they are able to play error-free football. Right now, you’ll find that the Blues are trading as the odds-on favourites with a ⅚ price tag that looks pretty good, all things considered, from a betting perspective.
