PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS LATEST BETTING TIPS

Over three months of (not so much) blood, (plenty of) sweat and (a certain amount of) toil it all comes down to one final night for five players in the Premier League of Darts. Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King, Ronnie Baxter, James Wade and Adrian Lewis are all bidding to make it into the top four and qualify for the semi-finals, but only three will succeed.

Wade has first opportunity to put the pressure on by winning his match against Terry Jenkins. The reigning champion will then be reliant on other results should he do so, but will also be quietly confident that a win will be enough to ensure his passage to the semi-finals. This is a big year for Jenkins and if his patchy form continues this could be his last outing in the Premier League, perhaps ever. Let’s keep things nice and simple for the opening match of the night and back Wade at 1.5 (1/2) on Betfair in the match odds.
Second up on the night is Raymond van Barneveld against Ronnie Baxter. Ever since it has been mathematically impossible for Barney to qualify for the semi-finals, he has been quite brilliant. A nine-darter in week 12 was followed up by an impressive win over King last week. Again it is sensible to just keep things simple on this one and back a resurgent Barney to beat Baxter at extremely generous odds of 2.0 (evens) on Betfair.
The penultimate match of the night is undoubtedly the biggest. Whitlock against King, Australia against England, second against third; the winner progresses to the last four and the loser will be dependent upon other results. By the time that this match comes around each player is likely to know what they need to do and that could have an effect on the result, but as things stand before a dart has been thrown Whitlock has to be taken on at the prices.
For two players who are separated by just one point in the table odds of 2.0 (Evens) on the Aussie are too short. King has been erratic in recent weeks and has made his situation worse by taunting that crowds that have booed him. But I expect that he may have had a quiet word with himself in the last seven days and can be one of the most fearful players on the circuit when bouncing back from a poor run of form. If he can get his mind back on the darts, rather than the crowd, he is more than a match for Whitlock.
Recommended Bets;
Back Wade to beat Jenkins @ 1.5
Back Barney to beat Baxter @ 2.0
Lay Whitlock to beat king @ 2.0
