PREMIER LEAGUE FINAL DAY PREVIEW AND ODDS FROM WILLIAM HILL
The odds look to be indicating that Carlo Ancelotti's men will be lifting the Premier League trophy today, but anybody who thinks United will defy expectations and get a little bit of luck from their suburban counterparts will certainly be rewarded for their guile. United are priced by William Hill at an enticing 6/1 price to win the 2010 English Premier League. Chelsea are at a very slim 1/12 and look to have this one locked up.
Didier Drogba is also just edging Rooney for the Premier League golden boot, but this one is significantly closer than the odds on the league. Drogba is listed at 5/6 and Rooney is just behind at even money. If you think Darren Bent is going to show up and pip the lot of them, he's priced at 16/1.
Arsenal are listed at 1/6 to take care of Fulham in a final day London Derby. The Europa League finalists are priced at a massive 14/1 to take the victory here and what a way to end the season that would be for the Cottagers. I think the draw is very plausible at 6/1- you just never know with Arsenal and it would be funny to see Spurs finish fourth.
In case you are wondering, Arsenal are 1/100 to finish 3rd and Spurs odds to finish third are 16/1.
Aston Villa vs Blackburn is an interesting fixture, but there really isn't much to play for here. Villa trade at 4/7 and Sam Allardyce's men are available at 5/1. Try the draw here at 11/4.
Bolton are favoured to topple Birmingham with a 6/5 price. Alex McLeish's side can be backed at 23/10 and it would be a nice way to finish the season for the high-flying second city side.
Spurs are heavily-favoured at 1/2 to take care of relegated Burnley and this one should be a straightforward affair.
Chelsea are at 1/10 to beat Wigan (who are 20/1 to give Manchester United the title). The draw is priced at 8/1 and you get the feeling that Chelsea will either run away with it or score in the final minute of injury time.
Everton are 2/7 to beat crisis-club Portsmouth in their final Premier League match in... Well, possibly quite a long time. Pompey trade at 10/1 for a famous final day victory.
Livepool are 8/15 to beat out relegated Hull City, who are hovering at an 11/2 price. The draw is 14/5 and Hull fans may want to have a bash on that selection.
Manchester United are at 1/9 to beat out Stoke City and, while it looks a straightforward task for United, Stoke do have a lot of pride at stake. They are listed at 20/1.
West Ham vs Manchester City is an interesting affair and that's favouring City with an odds-on price of 10/11. The Hammers, who have just stayed up, are at 3/1.
Wolves have retained their status in the league and they'd love to topple Sunderland at Molineux. They are priced at a very reasonable 13/10 while Sunderland can be backed at 21/10.
