Premier League Outright Betting Preview Pt 3
- By A.J. Ryder on December 2, 2013 08:00 GMTMoyes will likely need to solve the Shinji Kagawa puzzle if he’s really going to get things moving up the table, but their ability to qualify for Europe with ease (despite a relatively tricky group) must be a source of confidence going forward.

United are a run of good performances away from a 5.0 price tag with the bookmakers - particularly if Arsenal or Chelsea start to slip up at any point.
Liverpool are the only other plausible team who could win the English Premier League and you will find them trading at a 12.0 margin with Ladbrokes. Brendan Rodgers has done great things with that team and they will certainly push for a European place if they can keep up their solid start to the season. They dropped points this weekend though and that may sap their ability to rally and keep a challenge sustained into the holiday season and onwards into the New Year.
Spurs will be doing their best to get into the Champions League but they just don’t boast the same level of dynamism they once had when Gareth Bale was marauding down the wings. They are a full 81.0 shot to win the English Premier League and look likely to get into the Europa League but will need to step things up quickly to challenge for the Champions League.
If Spurs aren’t able to push for a Champions League spot this season then expect Andre Villas-Boas to be sacked prior to the World Cup.
Everton are always priced ahead of the mid-table sides and punters will find them priced around 151.0 while Southampton are, interestingly enough, trading at a 350/1 margin - they are a top six bet at this point but there is still a lot of the season left to play.
