With all of the English teams out of the Champions League, there is really just the FA Cup and the Champions League spots left to play for as Chelsea look to have everything sown up unless they start to drop points in a serious manner over the next month and a bit.
Manchester United have been enjoying a bit of a resurgence lately and it couldn’t have come at a more convenient time as they have been able to get results against Spurs and Liverpool in the past two weeks and they’ve been able to get those results with some proper play - looking very much like the old Manchester United team a couple of times.
That’s going to be significant going forward and Liverpool are up against it now as they face off against Arsenal on Saturday in the early fixture. The Gunners are getting the distinct edge from the bookmakers and they go into the match as the 17/20 favourites in front of their home fans.
Look for the Reds at a tidy 3/1 price to get the better of Arsenal here and it’s going to be difficult for them now with Steven Gerrard set to miss a few matches following his embarrassing red card when he came on against Manchester United at the start of the second half. The draw can be backed at 14/5 and you reckon that Liverpool might take a draw here but Arsenal will be going for the outright win.
