PREMIER LEAGUE TRANSFER DEADLINE BETTING ODDS FROM BETFAIR
Virtually all major bookmakers have stopped open trading on today's moves and you can't really blame them for doing so, as deadline day for the English Premier League can be absolutely all over the place.
Betfair looks to be the only spot where you can still lock in a bet on a player moving today and, while the volume in some of the markets is small and the prices are a bit off, you can still lock in a few decent bets here on some of the higher-profile potential transfers of the moment.
There is no current betting odds available for the Adebayor to Spurs rumours but I don't really see that one getting done anyways.
Remember on Betfair that you can back bets as well as lay your own odds so if you think that sighting of Robbie Keane outside LA Galaxy's training ground is a legit one, then by all means try to cash in.
Robbie Keane's odds to stay at Spurs favour him to remain with his current price hovering around 1.24 while he is trading at 2.12, at the time of this writing, to move anywhere on a permanent basis.
Scott Parker is another name that has been bandied about as a serious potential deadline day deal with West Ham acknowledging that they have turned down bids for their midfield anchorman. He is favoured to stay at West Ham at the moment, carrying a 1.11 price to stay, and offering up hefty odds of 3.35 to move anywhere.
Mark Schwarzer isn't favoured to go anywhere either, at the moment, and he's trading at 1.21 to remain at Fulham, but many think that a last minute move to Arsenal could materialize today. You can back that at a 2.3 price.
Ashley Young is paying out at around 2.5 to move anywhere at any point today. Carlos Tevez is paying out at 9.4 is he moves anywhere on deadline day. A potential shock move from Cesc Fabregas would pay out at 9.2, currently, but I think it's a much bigger shot than that.
Victor Chandler are offering up odds on Shay Given's next club, listing his odds for a move to Fulham at a 2/1 price while a direct move to Arsenal looks fairly plausible at an 11/4 price tag. A move to Spurs or Liverpool is rewarding at 6/1.
