Premiership Mid-Week Betting Tips

With mid-week action being in full swing in the Premiership at the moment, we'll be bringing you predictions over the next two days on that specific day's fixtures. United have the Premiership looking like a one horse race and with all three other big four sides in action, you have to fancy at least Chelsea or Liverpool to make a statement here. Liverpool face a tie with Sunderland who frustrated Arsenal at the weekend and they will probably be more buoyed than they had bargained for. It'll be an interesting fixture to say the least. If Chelsea and Liverpool continue to drop points then United could very well have the Premiership secured by the end of the month. It is ominous how many pundits are now beginning to openly doubt United's credentials to win the FA Cup or the Champions League. You'll notice they don't talk about the Premiership. Arsenal-West Brom: Must-win for Arsenal as the draws are beginning to pile up and something of a civil war is brewing amongst Arsenal supporters. Certain elements are beginning to call for Wenger's ouster and with the prospects looking like it'll be the UEFA Cup next year for the Gunners. West Brom will fancy their chances but if Arsenal can score they will win the game. 1-0 to Arsenal pays 11/2 with Paddy Power. Chelsea-Portsmouth: Portsmouth are in serious danger of relegation at the moment and they won't likely be able to turn it around here. Chelsea always seem to be able to do just enough and I can see a workmanlike 2-0 victory as the Guus Hiddink machine goes into overdrive. 11/2 With Paddy Power. Liverpool-Sunderland: Rafa must get his team sheet right here and failure to secure a full three points will leave Liverpool supporters reeling. It looks like Djibril Cisse will be looking to get one over on his old club. Sunderland have more momentum than they are used to going into this one, but I'm going to back Liverpool to win 2-1 which pays 7/1 with Paddy Power. There is also a money-back special on Djibril Cisse. Refunds for correct score, scorecast and first/last goalscorer will be refunded if he scores anytime.
