PREMIERSHIP PREDICTIONS FOR NOVEMBER 7-8, 2008
Here are my predictions for the full weekend Premier League fixtures. Take my advice and drop a pound or two on an accumulator at totesport and see if you can get 'em all right. It should be another exciting weekend and we'll all be looking forward to seeing the results as they come in.The early game on Saturday should be a corker with Man U taking on Arsenal in a must win clash for the gunners. Chelsea face a tricky trip to Blackburn and resurgent Spurs face off against Man City. Arsenal- Man UnitedUnited 2-1 with goals from Berbatov and Michael Carrick of all people. Wigan- Stoke2-2 Draw. Bank on some Rory Delap long-throw action to undo Wigan, who will be lucky to earn a point.Hull- Bolton3-2 to Hull. I just can't bet against them at the moment.Sunderland- Portsmouth1-2 to Portsmouth. Pompey's height and physical approach should nullify Sunderland, who've been inconsistent this season. West Ham- Everton1-3 to Everton. They've been good on the road as of late and West Ham are such a mediocre team.Liverpool- West Brom3-0 to Liverpool. This won't be a pretty one for the Baggies.SundayBlackburn-Chelsea2-3 to Chelsea. Blackburn will give them a game, but this one will be more comfortable for Chelsea than the scoreline suggests. Aston Villa- Middlesbrough2-1 to Villa. I like Martin O'Neill's approach and they will be looking to get back on track with this game. Man City- Tottenham2-2. This could very well be the game of the weekend if Arsenal/ManU is a bore. Robinho and Bent will be looking to get on the scoresheet.Fulham-Newcastle1-2 to Newcastle, just. Michael Owen at the death to win the game for Magpies.
