RAFA BENITEZ TO BE SACKED - NEXT LIVERPOOL MANAGER ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

The bookmakers are clearly lacking any form of confidence in Liverpool, and Rafa Benitez in particular, if you are keeping a close eye on the betting markets. After another disappointing capitulation for the Reds, a full smattering of new betting markets about Liverpool’s future have been carted out by a number of top UK-based bookmakers.
Blue Square are emphatic that Liverpool won’t win a thing in England this year with their trophies betting market putting Liverpool at a massive 500/1 to win a Premier League and FA Cup Double (Manchester United are 18/1, for comparison). Liverpool are 40/1 to win the FA Cup and the Europa League. While “Nothing” is listed as the heavy favourite at a slim 1/10. In consolation, however, Liverpool are strong favourites for the Europa League with 6/1 odds placing them well ahead of their next best competitors Juventus at 11/1.
In terms of the Next Liverpool Manager Odds, the favourite at the moment seems to be Jose Mourinho at 2/1, but that seems a bit of wishful thinking on my part. Personally, I think Mourinho has already been ear-marked for the upcoming position at Manchester United and he is willing to wait a while for it. I also think the Special One is simply too intelligent to take over a club in Liverpool’s precarious position. Former favourite Kenny Dalglish is also well-priced at 3/1. Robert Mancini is at 5/1.
Guus Hiddink would certainly be a popular selection, but he looks set to stay in Russia and his 12/1 odds more or less confirm that. Jurgen Klinnsman trades at 12/1 and that would be a reasonable outcome as well for the fans. I also think Frank Rijkaard shouldn’t be ruled out and he’s well-priced at 20/1. Marco van Basten is in the hunt at 25/1. There are also odds on Johan Cruyff joining up as manager and you’ll get paid out a whopping 33/1 should that happen. Sven Goren Eriksson trades at 50/1 while former Liverpool head honcho Gerard Houllier is listed at 20/1.
Victor Chandler only consider Rafael Benitez the fourth favourite manager to leave his post next. Gary Megson looks the favourite for the sack at the moment with a 7/4 price. Hull City’s Phil Brown continues to hang onto his position and he is 7/2 to go next. Gianfranco Zola, who is popular with the fans but is having a torrid time winning games, is next at 5/1. Rafa Benitez’s odds to be sacked are 6/1 and then the odds take a big jump to Avram Grant at 14/1, alongside Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy (who now looks safe with his tactics against Burnley proving correct).
