While many will be expecting Real Madrid to absolutely romp in this one, there is still a lot of different permutations and the bookmakers are offering up a relatively competitive price tag on Real Madrid if you genuinely think they have what it takes to pull off an important away victory.

Schalke, if they were to pull off one of the most famous results in their recent history, would reward at an 8/1 price which looks a little short when you think about it. 

The match odds themselves are tilted sharply in favour of the visitors and you’ll find Real Madrid available at a 4/9 price that might be trimmed during the heavy volume in the build-up to the match. One should always be wary about backing away favourites but this is one of those matches where you have to assume that Madrid has what it takes to get the job done despite their recent doldrums in the league.
