ROY KEANE WALKOUT? PADDY POWER SUSPENDS SACK RACE BETTING

In response to the ongoing reports of turmoil and back-door shenanigans at Sunderland, Roy Keane is said to be on the verge of walking out of the club in a spectacular row! The situation has been seen as increasingly serious and this has led Irish bookmaker Paddy Power to suspend betting on the Premiership sack race as Keane's departure looks imminent. Blazing RoyPreviously, Roy was sitting relatively safely listed at 14/1. However, after reports of a blazing conflict between him and club management, he has surpassed Man City manager Mark Hughes as the probable candidate to be forced out of his position. Hughes has been cut back to 11/2 while Keane's odds have been dramatically cut to 4/1. There are even reports that Keane has already walked out on Sunderland and failed to board the team bus for the journey to Paul Ince's Blackburn Rovers. Roy Keane walked out on Mick McCarthy's Ireland in similar fashion as a player at the 2002 World Cup. Will Keane Even Turn Up?Much will have to be resolved come kick-off tomorrow. Either way it looks as if the Premiership sack race betting will be taking another dramatic turn tomorrow based on whether Keane actually turns up for the match or not. A number of things could happen based on the outcome of the game. Blackburn are favourites to win tomorrow's match, which could complicate things even further for the folks at the Stadium of Light.
