Last year's champions Chelsea have been off to nearly the worst possible start as they float down near the bottom of the table just a shade ahead of the relegation places. They haven't just been beaten by top sides they have been beaten by middling Premier League teams like Everton and this has placed a huge volume of scrutiny on Jose Mourinho as he needs to right the ship and turn things around extremely quickly.

Leicester City have been the real surprise outfit his year as Claudio Ranieri has shed his Tinkerman label and put together a steady string of performances that have showcased that this side could be the real deal. They finished up last year in a good run of form and that has continued forward as they look to get another three points this week to remain in the Champions League placings.

Manchester United have had a better start to the season than they did last year and they have been hanging tough in the Champions League places for a while though there are many who are questioning Van Gaal's squad, which looks slightly unbalanced at the moment. However it should be remembered that this is a side that is going to get better as the season goes on, though the recent long-term injury of one of United's shining stars of the season has put a real damper on things. Luke Shaw had his leg fractured in two spots on Tuesday in the Champions League and he will face a long road to recovery that should see him out until around Christmas.

Arsenal have been playing some better football this year and they will look to put together a big performance against Chelsea as they travel across town to face off against the Blues at Stamford Bridge and this could be a crucial fixture for both sides – particularly if it winds up being one of those nip and tuck 1-0 results that are decided by a late (and sometimes extremely lucky) goal.
