SCOLARI SACKED: CHELSEA'S NEXT MANAGER BETTING TIPS
With all of us still dealing with the repercussions from the departure of Chelsea Manager Luis Felipe Scolari, many punters are trying to make cash from chaos by winning a bundle on the next Chelsea Manager. We'll show you how to do it.Now, up until later on this morning, Avram Grant was linked with the Portsmouth post, but it is looking now like he is going to be part of a two-man team consisting of him and Guus Hiddink. If media reports are to be believed, these two will be in place going into next week. The Betfair odds have been jumping around all morning and the wagering action seems to be spread into two camps- the ones who think it's going to the Grant/Hiddink regime and the others who believe either Roberto Mancini or Frank Rijkaard will be charged with the post. Betting on the Hiddink/Grant consortium is going to be a little bit tricky because one of them will likely be made manager and the other either a director of football or some type of other figurehead post. Betting on both of them will result in a loss of value so I would advise you to back Hiddink exclusively. Grant will likely installed in another capacity, possibly as head coach. There is also the possibility that Hiddink alone will be nominated while Grant will venture off and attempt to keep Portsmouth from getting relegated. Grant's odds are now up to 15.0 at Betfair to become Chelsea manager while Hiddink's have dropped to 4.8. There is also another permutation as Grant could be installed as Russia manager while Hiddink moves to the Premiership. Rijkaard's odds are lengthening as the day goes on and Van Basten's odds have gone from 26 to 80. At this point the odds are drifting away from everybody but Hiddink and I would suggest you put your cash on him.
