SEVILLA VS ATLETICO MADRID 2010 COPA DEL REY ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

It looks like an absolute dead-heat for today’s big Copa Del Rey cup match between Sevilla and Atletico Madrid. Top UK bookmaker William Hill has listed both sides at an identical price to win tonight’s big contest. You’ll find both sides listed at a solid 13/8 price while the draw is trading at 23/10- an occurrence that would see us through to extra time and, possibly, penalties.
The correct score markets are virtually identical for both teams except for one tiny discrepancy- Sevilla to win 3-1 pays out at 18/1 while Atletico Madrid to win 3-1 pays out at 16/1. This is the only variation in the entire market so take from that what you will.

Things are right down the middle once again in the double result market with Sevilla/Sevilla at 17/5 and Atletico/Atletico priced the same. Draw/Sevilla and Draw/Atletico both pay out at 5/1 while draw/draw sits at a 9/2 price.
The goalscorer markets are really the most interesting aspect of this match and, with Atletico Madrid’s strikeforce being the difference in their Europa League clash with Fulham, you really have to give them the slight edge here. Diego Forlan’s odds to score at any time are 5/4 and he is at 5/1 to score first or last. He is 6/1 to hit two or more and 33/1 to hit a hat-trick. Sergio Aguero is trading at 7/4 anytime and 6/1 to score first or last. Ibrahima is listed at 11/4 anytime while Jose Jurado is trading at 10/3. Eduardo Salvio is sitting at 7/2 and Jose Reyes trades at 4/1 anytime.
For Sevilla, they’ll be looking to the high-flying Luis Fabiano and his anytime price of evens to score. Frederic Kanoute is at 7/4 alongside Alvaro Negredo while Jesus Navas is at 9/4. Keep your eyes on Diego Capel if he gets the start as he is well-priced at 6/1 anytime.
A penalty to be awarded at anytime is a slim 9/4 while “no penalties” trades at 1/3. A red card at any point pays out at a 6/4 margin with no reds at 1/2.
Personally, I think that Atletico have shown some more acumen in cup finals this season (obviously) so you would be tempted to fancy them. They did have to go to extra-time against a mid-table English side and I get the feeling that if Sevilla score first then they are likely to take the cup.
