SIX NATIONS BETTING TIPS: SCOTLAND VS WALES
Scotland are the 6 point underdogs heading into their tie against tournament favourites Wales. Blue Square has a number of excellent odds for this Six Nations fixture and I expect it to be full of surprises, but I believe that the Welsh will come out on top in what will be a hotly contest match. In terms of the first tryscorer wagering, Sean Lamont and Simon Webster are expected to score first for Scotland with Shane Williams expected to come in first for Wales. Lamont and Webster are listed at 12/1 while Williams is sitting at 8/1. Leigh Halfpenny is sitting at 10/1 while Tom Shanklin, Jamie Roberts and Lee Byrne all sit at 14/1. In terms of anytime tryscorer, Webster and Lamont sit at 7/2 contrasted with Ben Cairns and Graeme Morrison at 9/2 apiece. The Welsh see Shane Williams at 13/8 and Leigh Halfpenny at 2/1. Byrne, Roberts and Shanklin are all sitting at 9/4. You can also back the Scotland Back to outscore the Welsh backs at 6/5 and you can get the reverse for 8/13. The forwards are evenly split at 5/6 each.
