SLOVENIA VS ENGLAND PREDICTIONS AND LIVE BETTING TIPS FOR THE 2ND HALF

It wasn't exactly the brightest of starts, but England are getting the job done up to this point even though you can tell they haven't really shifted into anything even close to top gear. The switch from Emile Heskey to Jermain Defoe paid immediate dividends with the Tottenham striker slotting in the first goal. It's good to have a pure finisher up front as Wayne Rooney still looks short of match fitness in my opinion.

Slovenia are a massive 26.0 to win the match and I think, at this point, that they are playing purely for the draw. That's still plausibly priced at a 6.5 listing and you can back England at a very short 1.1.
I think the fact that England kept attacking throughout the half instead of trying to instantly defend a 1-0 lead is a clear sign of intent. Slovenia also just really don't look all that good, and I think if England don't pull this one off it will be because of a severe defensive lapse as opposed to an individual piece of brilliance from a Slovenian player. They do look a bit dangerous from set-pieces though.
England are priced at 1.5 to score the next goal of the match while Slovenia are trading at 4.5. No more goals at all is also priced at 4.5.
How's this for an interesting statistic? For the first time in an England match a player is listed at lower odds than Wayne Rooney to score a goal. Wayne Rooney's odds to score the next goal are priced at 5.0 while Jermain Defoe has drifted down to 4.5. With Rooney continuing to drop deep constantly, Defoe is getting the bulk of the chances although he looks about 1000% more assured on the ball than Heskey did.
I've got my eye on Steven Gerrard to get the next goal and he's priced at 6.5.
The favoured correct score outcome is a 2-0 result to England and that's drifted down to 3.5 in the live betting. A 2-1 victory is trading at 8.5 while the match to stay at 1-0 pays out at 4.5. 3-0 is trading at a 5.5 price.
I think that England will need another goal, but if they continue to go forward they just might see dividends. Would anybody be shocked if Rooney came off and Crouch came on for an all-Spurs up front pairing? I think if its still 1-0 in the 70th minute and Rooney hasn't looked sharp then Capello should swap on the big man to help us grind out a victory.
