SOUTH AFRICA VS URUGUAY PREVIEW AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

Uruguay know that they need a big performance today and it's also pretty obvious that South Africa want to put on a show for their legions of fans and hopefully win their way through to the next round of the competition. 

Group A in the World Cup looks completely wide open and any side that takes all three points from their 2nd round of matches will be in pole position to go through. Basically, if you don't win your 2nd match, you will need help to go through and that's really not where you want to be at this point. 
Popular bookmaker Stanjames.com has priced Uruguay at 2.38 to win the match while South Africa can be backed at 3.4. The draw is trading at 3.1 and I think that selection might see a fair amount of action. 
The favoured correct score is either a 1-0 result to Uruguay or a 1-1 draw at 6.0. A 1-0 result to South Africa is priced at 7.0. South Africa to win 2-1 rewards at 11.0 while 2-1 to Uruguay is priced at a 9.0 price tag. 
You can get Uruguay on a (-1.0) handicap at a 4.75 price and that's quite a price. I wouldn't really say its out of the question if Uruguay's strikeforce are given some freedom and space to operate. They didn't really gel on their first match, but this is a prolific pairing and I think after they get the tactics and the timing right, then we could see it pay some serious dividends. 
The bookmakers seem to fancy two goals in this one with over 1.5 goals paying 1.53 while over 2.5 rewards at 2.63. I can see a few goals happening here as neither side boasts the most stellar of defenses. 
Over 3.5 pays out at a whopping 5.0 price. 
I have a feeling that most teams generally keep it tight in their first match, but Uruguay and South Africa both know that they need a win to be able to control their fate in this tournament so that should open things up. Watch for an early goal to turn this match on its head.
