Sporting Index spread betting traders on MU vs Arsenal
"It would take a braver man than me to pick a winner when Arsenal go to Old Trafford on Sunday. On current form you'd have to lump on the Gunners, but home advantage will even things out. There's been a lot of hype about whether Vieira will be fit enough to start, but Arsenal have won plenty of other big games without him and have other holding midfielders to fall back on. Bergkamp is likely to be back in the side, and with quality such as Fabregas on the bench Arsenal could easily build on their huge goal tally."Judging by the colour of Fergie's ever-redder face at Birmingham last week, he'll undoubtedly choose to select some midfielders on Sunday rather than four strikers again. This sort of match will suit Alan Smith up front with Van Nistelrooy, and Rooney will probably be on the bench. United's last few Premiership games have been low-scoring and I think this trend will continue. We're expecting a lot of interest on our Bookings markets for this game, after last season's Battle of Old Trafford. When you throw in the fact that referee Mike Riley has shown red in five of his last six games it could be worth betting high on cards."Norwich play host to Everton on Saturday, and despite the Toffee's current league position the home team will fancy their chances to grab their first win. They've been playing well and have only lost to Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool. Everton are not really scoring or conceding goals, but local lad Leon Osman is delivering now and Tim Cahill is showing some form. We've priced this game up with Everton as slight favourites but I expect to see plenty of punters backing the Canaries."Looking at the recent form of Liverpool and Charlton, who meet at Anfield on Saturday evening, you'd expect Liverpool to romp home. They've scored eight goals in their last three home matches, and Charlton have conceded four on three separate away trips this season. I don't think the Reds will get four, but with the amount of space Alonso seems to find at the moment and Benitez's managerial qualities becoming more evident then Charlton will have to really raise their game to take anything from this match."Ignoring their upset against Man City last week, Chelsea will comfortably see off Blackburn. Elsewhere, bottom of the table Palace entertain West Brom. Although I'd be hesitant to back Palace I certainly can't see West Brom getting three points, so will personally be betting against them. "Finally, in the lower leagues both West Ham and Wigan look like certain home winners and will be worth backing (though at a short price). We're also predicting Wolves will beat QPR at Molineux. Dave Jones probably saved his job when they got their first home victory last week, and QPR's seven match winning streak came unstuck at Preston -Wolves may have turned things around."Sporting Index
