SRI LANKA VS WEST INDIES WORLD TWENTY20 LIVE BETTING TIPS

Sri Lanka carry an odds-on price of 4/7 going into their ICC World Twenty20 semi-final match with the West Indies in just a few hours. West Indies carries a relatively slim price as well, listed at 5/4. Chris Gayle's men have really been coming into form in the past two games and will be looking to post a big total today to ensure that the job is done properly and that the best team meets Pakistan in the final. Sri Lanka are backed at 8/11 to boast the highest opening partnership while West Indies sit at evens. Not much between the two teams in terms of first 6 overs betting, but Sri Lanka are 4/5 while Windies have a 10/11 pricetag. Dilshan, Sangakarra and Jayasuriya are the favourites to be named top Sri Lankan batsman, listed at 11/4 and 7/2. Jayawardene is 4/1 as well, but I'm expecting more from the three openers. Chris Gayle, unsurprisingly, is Windies favourite to be named top runscorer with an 11/4 price. Andre Fletcher, Lendl Simmons and the irrepressible Dwayne Bravo are all priced at an enticing 4/1. Ramnaresh Sarwan sits at 11/2 while Shivnarine Chanderpaul is 6/1 alongside Xavier Marshall. Sarwan and Chanderpaul, two players known for their proficiency in the longer formats of the game truly delivered their last fixture against England and they will be looking to build on that momentum. Paddy Power also has match betting between players with Dilshan at 8/11 to outscore Gayle at evens. Jayasuriya is also 8/11 to best Andre Fletcher while there is nothing between Jayawardene and Drayne Bravo who are both listed at 5/6. You can also bet who will take the most wickets with Muralitharan at 8/11 and Jerome Talor at evens. Mendis is priced at 8/13 while Dwayne Bravo is at 6/5. West Indies are favoured to score the most sixes. Personally, I think the momentum is with the West Indies, but the overall talent base and batting acumen sits with Sri Lanka. If Muralitharan can take wickets early, I think Sri Lanka will be in the drivers seat. I'm going to favour West Indies if they have to chase. If you plan to bet live, be sure to back LBW and stumpings in the method of dismissal market once the attack starts to bowl spin, also, never back a batsman to get past 22 additional runs in a twenty20 fixture.
