SUNDERLAND BETTING TIPS 2009/10 PREMIER LEAGUE
Sunderland must thank their lucky stars every year that Kenwyne Jones continues to play for them. He really adds so much to this team and with him up front, they look like they can trouble any premier league defence. They boast former Manchester United players Kieran Richardson and Fraizer Campbell and they'll be assisted this year by striker Darren Bent. I think Bent and Jones make a formidable combination when deployed properly in tandem, and I love how Andy Reid keeps the team together. Sunderland don't look in any trouble this year, especially with some supposedly weaker teams coming up from the Championship. Sunderland are 1/20 to stay up this year and they are listed at a mere 2/1 to score a top half finish this year. In terms of improving on last year's performances, finishing higher than 16th will pay out at 1/4 while another 16th place finish pays out at 5/1. Anywhere lower than 16 will pay 11/2. Obviously it looks like Sunderland should be able to use this as a serious rebuilding year, and with some solid performances and a top-half finish, could push for Europe next year with the right type of signings. A lot depends on other teams performances for them to push into the top-half, but I would definitely not rule that out one bit. In the regional markets, they are up against Hull City who are listed at 11/4 to beat out Sunderland in terms of finishing position. Sunderland are available at 1/4 and are strong favourites to slog it out in the North East.
