Superbowl 43 Betfair Favourites: New York Giants and Tennessee Titans
Thanks to Tony Romo's injured pinkie finger, the odds for NFL Superbowl winner have tightened in favour of the New York Giants. Interestingly enough, the Dallas Cowboys are still favoured to take the NFC Conference championships, but the margin is incredibly slim. Dallas and New York are listed at 5 and 5.2, respectively. The Washington Redskins are also factoring into the equation with odds listed at 9. The AFC is also narrowing down to some very specific favourites with Tennessee, San Diego and Indianapolis all separated by fractions. According to Betfair, the 2009 Superbowl match-up is going to be fought out by 2 of six teams- New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers and the Indianapolis Colts. With the regular season in full swing, there is still plenty of room to move around and we all know that upsets happen- especially in the play-offs!However, placing a bet on the Superbowl winner is going to be a lot more profitable at this point in the season than a few days before the big game at the end of January.
