Swansea vs Liverpool Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on March 16, 2015 18:53 GMTThey have recently strung together some very good results and you’ll be hard pressed to find a team that has hit form at more crucial time in the season. After they lost that match to United in December, things did not look good and the fact that Liverpool are still up there punching it out for a potential spot in the Champions League tells you that there could be a lot in store for United on Sunday.

Looking ahead to today’s fixture though we have Liverpool coming in as the strong favourites despite being the visitors with the bookmakers listing them as the even money favourites to get the better of their Welsh opposition. You’ll find Swansea trading at a 3/1 margin and that’s not bad value if you think Liverpool might slip up here.
The draw trades at a 5/2 margin and that might be enough to attract some punters because heavy away favourites don’t always fare so well - particularly against teams that have shown they can beat bigger clubs already this season. That being said, the favoured correct score margin is a 1-1 draw which trades at a 6/1 price tag with a slim 1-0 victory to Liverpool priced at 13/2.
Swansea’s Bafetimbi Gomis has been cleared to play in this one and he’s not a bad shout to score any time at a generous 31/10 margin. He is trading at an 8/1 price to score first or last and that’s not half-bad if you’re planning to bet against Liverpool in this one.
Daniel Sturridge looks to be the main man for Liverpool here in front of goal and he’s a very short 13/8 to score at any point in the match - a good bet if you’re favouring Liverpool to score three goals or more. He’s 11/2 to score first and 9/2 to score last which shows that the bookmakers think he’ll be on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes of the match.
Raheem Sterling can be backed at a 12/5 margin for the any time goal while a potential strike from Steven Gerrard will pay 16/5 any time while the 9/1 price out there on him to score last might be a pivotal (and profitable) selection.
