SWITZERLAND VS ENGLAND EURO 2012 QUALIFIER BETTING PREVIEW

After an emphatic performance in front of the home fans against Bulgaria, Fabio Capello's English side look to build up even more momentum as they face a more challenging fixture against Switzerland on Tuesday.
England are considered to be the odds-on favourites to win this match, with popular bookmaker William Hill pricing them at 8/11 for the outright victory. Switzerland are listed at 10/3 and I reckon their supporters will be persuaded to have a bet on their side at that price.
The draw is listed at 11/5 but I reckon England will either win this comfortably or blow it spectacularly. I don't see much middle ground here.
Switzerland boast some quality players and can be a frustrating side to chase a game against. The first goal will be crucial for England.
The favoured correct scoreline is a 1-0 win for England which trades at 11/2. A 1-1 result is a 6/1 price while England to win 2-0 or 2-1 rewards at 15/2. Switzerland to win 1-0 can be backed at 9/1 while a 2-1 win pays out at 14/1.
Nice paydays await anybody who sees a few goals happening here as the over/under is set at 2.5 and the over is paying out at 23/20. That's a nice bet on a side that just scored four goals. Under 2.5 is listed at 13/20.
England to win the opening 15 minutes is trading at an enticing 9/2, so if you think Jermain Defoe will hit the ground running here, you can back that at 9/2.
Speaking of Defoe, he's listed at 5/4 to score anytime and 5/1 to score first or last. He's 6/1 to grab two or more and you can also back him for a hat-trick at a solid 33/1.
Wayne Rooney remains the favoured goalscorer here and he's listed at even money to score anytime and 4/1 to open or close the scoring. He's 25/1 to post a hat-trick and 9/2 to grab a pair of goals.
Adam Johnson should get a longer run out after opening his account on Friday. He's priced at 7/2 to score anytime and 10/1 to score first or last.
