THE BARCLAYS LATEST GOLF ODDS SHOW TIGER WOODS FAVOURED TO WIN

Over on the open market at Betfair, it looks like the punters are putting together a real run on Tiger Woods as he's seen his price dropping constantly all day. If the backers are correct, it looks like Woods might be able to lock down that elusive first victory of the season.
Tiger Woods odds to win the Barclays are priced at around 6.4 at the time of this writing, but the odds are jumping around all over the place amidst very heavy volume.
Phil Mickelson was originally cast as the outright favourite and he's now trading at around 15.5 and that's the same odds as Rory McIlroy to pull this one off.
Steve Stricker and Ryan Palmer can both be had for 22.0. Paul Casey is available at 30.0 with Dustin Johnson at 32.0.
Tiger Woods is priced at even-money to record a top five finish and this is a fair indication that the punters expect Woods to hang around. The big issue is that Woods has had a few positive starts over the last few months, only to be undone by sloppy putting in the later days.
Perhaps Tiger Woods divorce finally getting behind him could result in him stringing together his first winning performance of the year. I think he's due, and he's in the hunt for a Ryder Cup spot (which I think he'll get even if he wins the Barclays or not).
Tiger is priced at 3.55 to finish the first round as the outright leader.
At Betfair, you can take advantage of some matchbetting as well as the margin of victory and top Australian and Top English player.
