This weekend`s Premiership Games
Looking ahead to the weekend's Premiership encounters, the one that stands out is unbeaten Aston Villa's trip to Anfield. As little as 9 weeks ago, the Villa side was being touted as a relegation dark horse and Liverpool as favourite to push Chelsea closest. With the shrewdness of Martin O'Neill and the tinkering of Rafael Benitez, the reverse scenario seems possible. However, the Reds at home have a nervous reliability about them that has seen them drop only two points in front of the Kop in all competitions this season. A draw at a best price of 12/5 at Totesport seems an exceptional price with Liverpool continuing to struggle in front of goal with the mean Villa defence holding firm. Elsewhere, an interesting match-up sees Man Utd travel to the Reebok Stadium. Unquestionably the two best teams in the Northwest at present, this promises to be a bruising encounter. However, with skipper Kevin Nolan having facing a trip to Soho Square to explain a verbal tirade at referee Mike Dean that earned him a straight red in the closing stages at Ewood Park last weekend, Bolton may struggle to keep the ball. Paul Scholes to continue a rich vein of form and score the first goal at a best price of 9/4 with SportingOdds is one market it may be worth a dabble in.
