Tory Leadership Betting
IS LEADERSHIP BEYOND OUR KEN?.......William Hill have shortened Ken Clarke's odds of becoming the next Tory Party leader from 8/1 to 6/1 third favourite. Hills make David Davis 11/10 favourite, ahead of Sir Malcolm Rifkind at 11/2. David Cameron is 13/2 fourth favourite and Hills have William Hague at 10/1 and Liam Fox 11/1. 'Although he has yet to confirm himself as a definite runner, this must be Ken Clarke's last realistic chance of getting the job' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'He is already proving popular with our punters, and he will know that this is a race in which the early favourite is seldom in front at the finishing post'
