TOTTENHAM VS FULHAM PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING TIPS
Spurs are in dire need of a victory here to keep their top 4 hopes alive having failed to win for three matches on the bounce now. They’ve had issues finishing off chances recently and I think that they’ll need a bit of a tactical shift to start getting results again. For me, their biggest issue isn’t Crouch or Defoe- it’s their support strikers. Pavluychenko may have scored off the bench the other day, but I don’t think that makes a huge difference. They simply don’t seem to have anyone to turn to when they need a goal and the front strikers aren’t scoring. Without Aaron Lennon, this team looks a bit short of options and their top 4 ambitions may be found out if they don’t take all three points here.
Fulham don’t look like they’re going to match their stellar performance from last season, but they are chugging along in mid-table and look a decent side again. They are definitely building something, you can see that from the signings they’re making, and they are becoming a difficult side to play against.
Spurs remain the favourite for this London Derby with a price of 6/10 at Blue Square. Fulham are well-priced to get a result here at 19/4, while the draw pays out at a solid 11/4. I think the draw will see a fair amount of volume.
The correct score betting favours a Spurs win by a 1-0 or 2-0 margin with those being the lowest-priced options at 11/2. A 1-1 draw pays 13/2 while a 2-1 victory for Spurs pays 15/2. Fulham to win 1-0 pays a massive 14/1 while Fulham 2-1 (a more reasonable outcome) pays out at 20/1. A 2-2 draw pays a hefty 16/1 price.
Jermain Defoe is odds-on to score at anytime with a 10/11 price. Robbie Keane pays out at 11/8, the same price as Peter Crouch. Roman Pavlyuchenko pays 6/4 while Luka Modric and Niko Krancjar pay 12/5. Aaron Lennon is a solid bet if he starts and he’s trading at 3/1. Keep your eye on Gareth Bale to have another great match with an 11/2 listing anytime.
Fulham will be looking primarily to their goal-scoring powerhouse Bobby Zamora who is listed alongside Andy Johnson at 11/4. Diomansy Kamara and Erik Nevland are at 10/3 wile Zoltan Gera is never a bad bet at 5/1- that’s the same price as Damien Duff.
I think Fulham look value for money here. Spurs should win this, but if Zamora can trouble the Spurs backline- I think this could be Fulham’s match. I also don’t see enough value on Spurs- who haven’t won in a few games now.
