UEFA Champions League Group Stage Betting Tips Part 2

Look for the Portuguese side at a 2/1 price. Olympiacos are a 14/1 shot to win the group but they will do their best to push the other teams all the way for second spot. Anderlecht are 20/1 to surprise everybody and top Group C.

Group D will be a real test of Manchester City’s ability as they will have to navigate a match against Bayern Munich, who are trading at 4/7. Man City boast a 13/8 price to top the group and you do have to acknowledge that it would be a massive confidence booster for City if they could beat out Munich for the top position in Group D. CSKA Moscow are at 12/1 while Plzen can be backed at a lengthy 50/1 to top the group. 

Group E sees Chelsea go in as the massive favourites in what some might consider one of the weaker groups as well. There is still plenty of challenge on display here though as the 2/9 Blues will have to face off against Shalke 04, who are a 4/1 shot to win Group E and FC Basle who can be backed at 16/1. Steaua Bucharest are priced at 25/1 to top this group. 

Group F is completely wide open in the 2013/4 Champions League and they have the longest odds on the outright favourite. Borussia Dortmund are available at 5/4 to top the group while Arsenal look set to challenge with a listing of 2/1. Napoli also look very much in the mix with odds of 11/4 and Marseille make this one especially competitive with a 14/1 price that might drop significantly if they can win their first match of the Group stage. 

Group H sees Barcelona considered one of the biggest favourites to win with a 1/4 price tag putting them right at the top of the list of contenders for the Champions league. AC Milan are looking competitive at 10/3 while Ajax can be backed at 16/1 and Celtic at 50/1. Each of these teams has won the European Cup at some point in their history.
