UEFA UNDER 21 CHAMPIONSHIPS BETTING TIPS
The initial practice matches are all finished up for the UEFA U21 Championships and we're set for an exciting kick-off on Monday! The 8 teams competing are all very diverse and contrasting sides and I feel as though this will open things up a bit and create a number of excellent wagering opportunities. Spain U21's are listed as the outright favourites to win this one with an outright price of 11/4 at Ladbrokes. Italy's U21 side is just a bit behind with a 3/1 price while England U21's are listed at 7/2, making them the third place favourites. Ladbrokes odds for the U21 European Championships are quite generous, especially in the outright market, and you're going to extract more value here than you would at many other UK-based bookmakers. Germany are listed at 11/2 with Serbia sitting at 6/1. The Serbs boast some great players, and have some solid pace down the flanks. I could certainly see them troubling some of the top teams, especially if they can get off to a flying start by winning their first match and getting the confidence going. Sweden are 9/1 and Belarus carry a 25/1 price. Hosts Finland are the long-shots at 40/1. In terms of top tournament goalscorer, Bojan Krki? is the big favourite at 6/1 ahead of Acquafresca (best name I've ever seen in football) and Mario Balotelli at 8/1 each. Gabriel Agbonlahor is favoured to do the business for England and he carries a 9/1 price ahead of team-mate Theo Walcott, who sits at 10/1. Giovinco from Italy is 14/1 with Sandro Wagner and Xisco sitting at the same price. Fraizer Campbell, Gojko Kacar, Maralem Sulejmani and Rade Veljovic are all listed at 16/1.Other notables include Manchester United's Zoran Tosic at 25/1, Mark Noble at 33/1 and Capel at 20/1.
