UFC 115 FRANKLIN VS LIDDELL COMPLETE ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
Popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has released a detailed slate of odds for tonight's UFC 115 which is taking place live in Vancouver, Canada. The action is slated to begin in a few hours with the PPV card starting at 7 pm EST.
On the undercard, we have James Wilks taking on Peter Sabotta with Wilks heavily-favoured at a 2/7 price ahead of Sabotta's 12/5 listing. This one looks like it's only going in one direction.
The Jesse Lennox vs Mike Pyle match looks a little bit different with Lennox getting a slight edge at 8/11 while Pyle trades at even money. I think this one might actually go in Pyle's direction, but he will need a bit of luck along the way.
Claude Patrick is a 2/7 favourite ahead of Ricardo Funch. You'll find Funch priced out at 9/4 and that's not a terrible price but I think Patrick will make a nice accumulator selection.
Mario Miranda takes on David Loiseau and he's a distinct favourite at a 4/11 price. Loiseau is trading at 15/8 and looks like a real longshot here. Still, stranger things have happened.
Originally, Matt Wiman was considered the favourite over competitor Mac Danzig, but over the past week or so we've seen Danzig drop from an 11/10 price to a 4/5 listing. He just gets the edge over 10/11 Wiman in one of the closest-looking matches of the night.
Evan Dunham vs Tyson Griffin is another interesting bout and Paddy Power considers Griffin to be a heavy 2/5 favourite. You can back Dunham at 7/4 but I'm unsure about his chances.
Carlos Condit takes on British Columbia-born Rory Macdonald. I think the hometown crowd could be a big part of the equation for Macdonald and that would explain his 4/6 price tag.
Ben Rothwell sits at 4/6 while Gilbert Yvel can be backed at 11/10. There's a few extra markets available for this one with Yvel by KO or TKO favoured at 6/4. Rothwell can be backed at 7/4 and this looks like one of the better fights of the evening.
Paul Thiago is a heavy 4/11 favourite over Martin Kampmann who is listed at 15/8. This one is favoured to go the distance in regards to how Thiago wins it. He's 5/2 on points and 13/8 by submission. A KO victory for Thiago is priced at 9/2.
Mirko Filipovic vs Pat Barry shows Barry with a slight edge. He boasts an 8/15 price while Cro-Cop is at 11/8. This one looks like a slugfest with Barry at 5/4 to win by KO and Filipovic at 5/2 for a KO or TKO victory.
In the headline fight, Chuck Liddell is priced at 11/10 with Rich Franklin trading at a 4/6 price. I wouldn't be surprised to see some late movement and if the fight goes the distance, I think it favoures Franklin. He's priced at 2/1 to win on points and 5/2 to win by KO. Liddell is listed at 2/1 for a KO victory while Liddell on points trades at 9/2.
