UFC 117 PAY-PER-VIEW ODDS AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

We've got some first-rate matches ahead of us tonight with one of the best cards I've seen on a UFC pay-per-view in quite some time. UFC 117 has some seriously exciting-looking fights ready to kick off and there are some solid accumulator selections available at Paddy Power if you're looking to get a bit adventurous with your UFC betting.
Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson is a major money-making opportunity and I'm going to be playing the upset on this one for sure. All respect to Dos Santos, but I just think Roy Nelson is one of those fighters who may not be 110% technically, but he simply knows how to win a fight. He's like a stuborrn old gelding that mugs his opponents on the line. You can back him at a lengthy 5/2 price while Dos Santos is at a slim 1/4. I think Nelson is a handful and this one won't be a walk in the park for Dos Santos, who will be looking to end things early.
Dos Santos is favoured to win by KO at a slim 1/2 with Nelson by KO or TKO at an enticing 11/2.
Clay Guida vs Rafael Dos Anjos is a complete toss-up according to the bookmakers and both contenders are priced at 5/6. This one looks like it might go the distance with Guida on points at 15/8 and Dos Anjos on points at 9/4. Guida by submission is a solid 4/1 and that's your outside bet here.
Matt Hughes vs Ricardo Almeida is also favoured to go the distance and Almeida is a solid favourite here. You can back him at 4/7 with Hughes priced out at 5/4. Almeida is favoured to win the match on points at 7/4 with Hughes at an 11/4 price. Almeida by submission trades at 11/4 and a KO or TKO victory will pay a solid 7/1. Hughes by KO or TKO is 6/1 and I think that's a solid selection.
Jon Fitch vs Thiago Alves is another big toss-up and both fighters are trading at 5/6. The differences are in the method victory market with Fitch favoured on points at 7/4 and a submission win pays out at 5/1. You can back him on a TKO or KO victory at 8/1. Alves is favoured to win by KO or TKO at 2/1 with a points win at 11/4. A submission victory looks a longshot at 16/1.
If you're looking to play an accumulator on the outright wins, I've got Nelson x Guida x Hughes x Fitch at 27.94.
