UFC 118 LATEST BETTING ODDS AND PREDICTIONS FOR PRELIMINARY CARD

This is easily one of the most exciting UFC cards of the year and I'm already declaring the Fight of the Night betting to be a complete toss-up. We'll be examining the early odds from popular UK bookmaker William Hill here and giving a few predictions for UFC 118.
On the preliminary card, we've got Mike Pierce vs Amilcar Alves and Pierce is getting a distinct edge here with a 1/3 price tag while Alves is paying out at 2/1 odds.
Another welterweight fight takes place when England's Nick Osipczak takes on American Greg Soto. Osipczak is a slim favourite here but keep in mind that this is a UK-based bookmaker who will be expecting heavier volume on their countryman. You can back him at 4/6 while Soto is priced at 11/10.
Dan Miller vs John Salter is a middleweight bout with Miller definitely needing a victory here as he's lost three in a row. Salter put in a great shift against Canadian Jason MacDonald at UFC 113 and a victory here would definitely put others on notice that he's for real. The bookies are giving a heavy edge to Dan Miller though, with a 3/10 price available at the time of this writing. Salter is a hefty 9/4 and a victory by any method is great value at that price.
You can take Pierce x Osipczak x Salter at a 6.22 payout.
The UFC 118 Preliminary card on Spike features two really solid Lightweight bouts and one of them features the awesomely-named British fighter Andre Winner taking on the USA's Nik Lentz. Winner is looking for his third straight victory and he carries odds of 4/6 giving him a slim edge over 11/10 Lentz. This one could go either way but Winner is likely getting an edge based on experience.
Joe Lauzon is a heavy favourite to top Gabe Ruediger and this looks to be one of the safer bets of the night in the eyes of the bookmakers. You can lock in a slim 2/7 payout on Lauzon while Ruediger is rewarding at 5/2, effectively making him the longest shot outside of the main event card.
You can get a 1.14 price on both favourites to win on a double, which means that a $10 wager would pay out a $21.43 margin all told. You can also add the two favourites to our previous accumulator to make a five-fold and you're looking at a tasty 14.47 payout there. If all five selections win (by any method of victory) and you staked $10 then you would be looking at a payday of $154.76.
