UFC 119 FRANK MIR VS CRO COP FULL BETTING PREVIEW
We’re less than a week away from UFC 119 and there is going to be plenty of explosive action happening at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis this coming weekend. The betting markets have been out for this one for quite some time and there are some great wagering opportunities at UFC 119 and we’ll be taking a glimpse at the outright odds for all the fights, as well as taking a closer look at the main event- Frank Mir vs Cro Cop.
The Preliminary card will be partially shown on Spike TV and we’ve got a really solid match-up between Matt Mitrione vs Joey Beltran. Mitrione is the odds-on favourite to win the fight by any means with Irish bookmaker Paddy Power pricing him at odds on 4/7. Joey Beltran is listed at 5/4 odds to pull off the upset. This one is close, but Mitrione will be looking to build on his victory over Kimbo Slice last time out.
CB Dollaway vs Joe Doerksen is heavily-skewed in favour of Dollaway as he carries a slim 1/4 price to win the bout while Doerksen can be backed at a 5/2 price and he’s pretty much the longest shot of the entire evening.
Heading into the main card for UFC 119, we’ve got Melvin Guillard vs Jeremy Stephens and you’ll find that this one is extremely close, with Guillard getting a very slim edge from the bookmakers with a 4/6 price tag. Jeremy Stephens’ odds to win are listed at 11/10. In all honesty, this one could go either way.
Evan Dunham is a heavy favourite to dispose of Sean Sherk and you can back Dunham at a 2/5 price while his competitors is available at 7/4. Method of victory betting is available for this one and it looks set to go the distance with Dunham on points being the favoured outcome at 11/8. Sherk on points is trading at 3/1.
Matt Serra vs Chris Lytle should be an intriguing clash and this is another one with very little between the two fighters. You can get odds of 4/6 on Chris Lytle while Serra can be had at an 11/10 price tag. Lytle’s submission skills look set to be the decider with an 11/4 price tag available while Serra trades at 5/2 on points.
One of the biggest fights of the evening is going to be Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs Ryan Bader and you’ll find that the American is the distinct favourite for this one with a 4/7 price putting him well ahead of his Brazilian counterpart at a 5/4 price tag. The favoured method of victory is Bader on points at a 7/4 price while a KO victory is trading at 12/5. Nogueira is at 4/1 to win by KO or on points.
If the bookmakers are to be believed, Frank Mir will beat Mirko Filipovic by a submission victory and they’ve priced that particular outcome at nearly an odds-on price. You can back him at an 11/10 listing while Mir by KO is trading at 7/2. Cro Cop’s best odds on winning the fight looks to be a KO victory and you can back him at a 4/1 price to do so. The outright odds have Mir at 1/3 while Filipovic is priced at 2/1.
