UFC 119 MIR VS CRO COP BETTING PREVIEW AND FIGHT PREDICTIONS

While UFC 119 may not be the most incredible line-up of fights, you can still bank on plenty of excitement and more than a few surprises tonight. The Frank Mir vs Mirko Filipovic bout is an intriguing fixture and we'll be examining that one in greater depth as we get closer to fight time.
In the Preliminary Card on Spike TV, we've got Matt Mitrione vs Joey Beltran and this one is favoured for Mitrione by KO, which the bookmakers are pricing at 11/8. Beltran by KO is trading at 9/4 and that's a plausible result as well. If you're looking to just back fighters outright, you can get Mitrione at 4/7 while Beltran is priced at 5/4 with popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power.
C.B Dollaway vs Joe Doerksen is looking like a victory for Dollaway and he's short-priced at 1/4. He can potentially win this fight by a variety of methods but a KO or points win can be backed at 2/1 and 7/4, respectively. Doerksen to pull off a surprise submission at 9/2 wouldn't be a complete shock.
Jeremy Stephens vs Melvin Guillard appears to be one of the most wide-open fights of the night and Stephens is the 11/10 underdog while Guillard can be backed at 4/6. This one will likely go the distance and Guillard is 2/1 to win it on points.
Evan Dunham vs Sean Sherk is looking like a lopsided fight with Dunham a heavy 2/5 favourite. Sherk is trading at 7/4 but a Dunham points win is the likely outcome here- listed at just over even money at 11/10.
The Chris Lytle vs Matt Serra fight is another close one with Lytle getting the slight edge at 4/6 while Serra is available at 11/10. This one is a complete toss-up.
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs Ryan Bader is shaping up to be a victory for Bader, if the odds are to be believed, and you can back him at a 4/7 price while his Brazilian opponent can be backed at 5/4. A KO victory for Bader wouldn't surprise but you reckon Nogueira will give him a run for his money.
Frank Mir is a big favourite to beat out Cro Cop and you can back the American at a 1/3 price with Filipovic at a 2/1 listing. Mir by submission is the shortest price and you can back that at 11/10 while a KO victory pays out at 13/5.
