UFC 93 Prediction Betting With Paddy Power
If you're going to be watching the UFC this weekend, and let's face it- who isn't, you're probably going to want to drop a few quid on some of the matches just to make things a bit more interesting. I won't judge you, this just isn't that type of place. Taking a look at the main event, I'm backing Rich Franklin to win by KO. Paddy Power, one of the best bookmakers in the business, have outlined a full smorgasboard of Method of Victory bets on each of the fights. This definitely gives you an idea of where the value is and the odds are so bloody generous that you almost can't afford not to bet on these matches. A Franklin points victory is the likely outcome, according to Paddy, with odds of 21-10. Franklin by KO (my predicted method of victory) pays out at 4-1. While he isn't a submission-based fighter you can still take a punt on him to win in that fashion and it pays out at a whopping 16-1. Henderson to win by KO pays 3-1, as does Henderson on points. Henderson's Greco-Roman style favours a submission victory if he is to pull off the win and you can back him to win via tap-out at 6-1. Very juicy odds on that fight. The Coleman-Rua fight is a foregone conclusion with a Coleman victory by submission, points or KO all paying out at 9-1. Rua is a heavy favourite for this fight and he is very much expected to win via knockout, which pays 5-6. A points win pays 3-1 and an unlikely submission victory pays 7-1. Dennis Kang is favoured to win his fight over Alan Belcher with a Belcher victory paying in the range of 7-1 or 8-1 depending on the method. Back Kang all the way here with a points victory the slightly favoured outcome at 11-4 contrasted with the KO or submission which pays 12-5. Marcus Davis is the favourite to win his battle with Chris Lytle, with a points victory the most likely outcome at 11-4. A KO, which is very likely, pays out at 7-2 and a submission win pays 7-1. The bookmakers seem to think that Lytle's only chance here is a tap-out victory paying 3-1. A decision for Lytle pays 7-2 and an unlikely knockout pays out at 7-1. Jeremy Horn and Rousimar Palhares is tilted harshly in favour of the Brazilian, with a submission victory favoured by a substantial margin. You'll be paid out at 8-11 if the favoured outcome comes through. A Palhares win on points or KO pays 5-1. Horn, the definite underdog pays 7-1 for a points win, 9-1 for a submission win and 11-1 for the unexpected KO.
