The range of excuses at the UK Championship are almost as entertaining as the snooker itself. After getting dumped out, Neil Robertson seemed to say that because his game wasn't live on TV he lost, declaring "the crowds and the TV cameras bring out the best in me". Ronnie O'Sullivan took things one step further by making an excuse despite winning his match against Ricky Waldon. The Rocket 'blamed' a dodgy table, saying "if it hadn't been for a cushion Ricky would have won, so a bad table has got me through to the next round".
