United Odds Eased
Manchester United's failure to close the gap on leaders Chelsea has seen their title odds eased from 9/2 to 7/1.United manager Sir Alex Ferguson spoke of his frustration as his side spurned several chances in drawing 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday night. A win for the Red Devils would have cut their deficit on Chelsea to seven points."If United had won we'd have cut them to 4/1," said VC Bet's football expert Nick Blezard. "A seven point lead with 21 matches left isn't the biggest margin to make up but this draw has taken a lot of wind from United's sails."United went into Monday night's game looking for their fifth straight league win.Fulham's Senegalese midfielder Papa Bouba Diop's stunning late 25-yard screamer cancelled out Alan Smith's first-half strike."We were surprised to see Wayne Rooney playing in such a deep role but as we'd laid him heavily to be the first goalscorer it helped us out ," added Blezard.Rooney was 9/2 to score the first goal at Craven Cottage.Premiership outrights:Chelsea 4/9Arsenal 12/5Man Utd 7/1Everton 100/1Get a free bet with VCBet!
