URUGUAY VS HOLLAND PREDICTIONS AND WORLD CUP SEMI FINAL BETTING TIPS

Despite the odds showing Holland as the start favourites for Tuesday's massive World Cup fixture, its been made abundantly clear that you can never know what to expect when Uruguay take the field. This is a real winner-takes-all type of fixture and I think we can expect a battling 90 minutes and I wouldn't be surprised at extra-time if Uruguay can pull this one off. 

I think Luis Suarez's villainy/heroics won't so much cast a shadow over this match- it will actually force Uruguay into a tactical switch that I can see paying serious dividends for them. Hear me out- Holland generally have won their matches by dominating the midfield and getting Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben plenty of time and space on the ball. I think that with only one world class striker available, Uruguay may opt to line up 4-5-1 and this will probably help them plug up the midfield and potentailly cut off service to either of Holland's dynamic duo. 
A straight swap for Suarez with a battling holding midfielder could prove to be a pivotal move if Uruguay go the predicted route. 
You'll find the Netherlands odds to win at a slim 8/13 price while Uruguay can be backed at 11/2. The draw is rewarding at 12/5 and I think that most Uruguay fans will be placing their bets on extra-time. 
Keep in mind that those odds are for the 90 minutes market, if you're looking to bet on outright qualification for the World Cup Final, the Dutch are a slim 3/10 while Uruguay are priced out at 12/5. 
OPTA Sportsdata points out that Holland have won their last three matches by 2-1 scorelines and you can back that same one again at a 15/2 price. The favoured outcome, by a decent margin, is a 1-0 result to the Dutch at a slim 4/1 price. A 2-0 victory is listed at 11/2 while a 1-1 draw pays a 6/1 margin. Uruguay to take the match 1-0 is priced at 9/1 with a 2-1 victory at 16/1. 
The bookmakers don't see a huge amount of goals here with the over/under set at 2.5 and the under favoured at 8/15. The over is trading at 11/8 and that's not a bad bet in my opinion. I think that things could kick off here quite quickly and that Uruguay will go at the Dutch. They've won their matches by battling- not by sitting back. 
Should the match go to extra-time, Holland are favoured to take it during the additional 30 minutes at an 8/1 price. The Dutch are 10/1 to win on penalties while Uruguay are also listed at 10/1. They are 14/1 to win it in extra-time. Maybe by an Henry-like handball at the other end? Sometimes you can't make this stuff up.
