URUGUAY VS NETHERLANDS STARTING LINEUPS AND LAST MINUTE ODDS

We've just had the team sheets released for the massive first semi-final clash in the 2010 World Cup where we've got favourites Holland battling it out with upstarts Uruguay. There are no massive surprises here although Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez is suspended thanks to his attempt at goalkeeping kept Ghana out of the semi-finals.

Here are the starting lineups for Uruguay vs Holland:
Uruguay: 1-Fernando Muslera; 3-Diego Godin, 6-Mauricio Victorino, 5-Walter Gargano, 16-Maximiliano Pereira, 22-Martin Caceres, 15-Diego Perez, 11-Alvaro Pereira, 17-Egidio Arevalo, 7-Edinson Cavani, 10-Diego Forlan.
Netherlands: 1-Maarten Stekelenburg; 12-Khalid Boulahrouz, 3-John Heitinga, 4-Joris Mathijsen, 5-Giovanni van Bronckhorst; 7-Dirk Kuyt, 6-Mark van Bommel, 10-Wesley Sneijder, 14-Demy de Zeeuw, 11-Arjen Robben; 9-Robin van Persie.
Holland are listed as the 4/6 favourites here with Uruguay priced at a 5/1 listing to win the match in 90 minutes. The draw is trading at 12/5 and that's not a bad price all things considered.
I have a feeling that Holland will likely take this one if we get over 2.5 goals. Uruguay will want to keep it tight and, while I do think they are capable of chasing down a two goal deficit, I think that Holland's defence are organized enough to keep them out of the net.
Set-pieces could be absolutely crucial here and they usually are if it's a lower-scoring affair. Diego Forlan showed that he is a genuine threat from a dead-ball situation with his wonderstrike in the group stages.
You can back Diego Forlan to score from outside the box with a 13/2 price. He is 12/1 to win a penalty and 5/1 to hit the woodwork. If you think the goals will come from a set-piece then back him to score with a header at 6/1. He does take a fair amount of free-kicks though, so keep in mind that he may not be on the receiving end of too many of them.
Wesley Sneijder is priced at 7/1 to score from outside the box while Arjen Robben is listed at 11/2. I think bothof them are great contenders for a long-range goal.
This is going to be a hell of a match and if Uruguay can keep it tight and cut off the service to Sneijder and Robben then they have a genuine shot at this. They'll be looking for the draw, so my suggestion to Uruguayan fans is to keep your fingers crossed for extra time.
