US OPEN BETTING TIPS GASQUET AND KUZNETSOVA HEADLINE EARLY ACTION DAY 8

Fourth round action is set to get underway today with Svetlana Kuznetsova taking on Dominika Cibulkova on Arthur Ashe and Richard Gasquet going head-to-head with Gael Monfils.
A plethora of markets is available on both feature clashes and conspicuously, Gasquet and Kuznetsova are favoured by pundits to advance.
Russian Kuznetsova is listed as the 2/9 favourite while Slovak Cibulkova is tipped at 3/1 to mastermind the upset.
Kuznetsova owns the 3-1 lifetime edge over her Eastern European opposite, including a win at Sydney earlier this season 7-5, 6-3.
Cibulkova, who stands at a diminutive 161 cm tall, is a rather feisty competitor and though she is the underdog she shouldn’t be underestimated. She was once a Grand Slam semi-finalist – French Open 2009, significantly taking out Maria Sharapova in the quarters.
Kuznetsova is listed at a favourable 8/13 to win the match in straight sets. Meanwhile, a 2-1 score to Kuznetsova is tipped at 16/5.
Cibulkova, by contrast, is a large 6/1 bet to dismiss the two-time Grand Slam champion, Kuznetsova in straight sets while a 2-1 win is tipped at 13/2.
On Louis Armstrong stadium, the all-French affair between Gasquet and Monfils gets underway with Gasquet listed at 4/5 to win outright. However, Monfils is an unassuming Evens bet to win outright.
Gasquet has had a standout tournament so far. Most notably, he took out the No.6 seed Nikolay Davydenko in the second round. This wasn’t as big an upset as many would have it nor was it that surprising when you consider Gasquet once was a top player.
Gasquet and Monfils are level 2-2 lifetime. Monfils won their last encounter in 2009. This is their first clash on 2010.
Gasquet is tipped at 4/1 to take the match in straight sets. A 3-1 score is tipped at 16/5 while a 3-2 score is tipped at 4/1. Monfils is listed at 5/1 to take the match in straight sets and at 4/1 to take the match in four or five sets, respectively.
