USA VS BRAZIL 2009 CONFEDERATIONS CUP BETTING TIPS
The United States are 8/1 underdogs to defeat 1/3 Brazil tomorrow during their clash at the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa. The draw pays out at 7/2 and this would be an absolutely major coup if the United States were able to pull of an impressive victory over World Cup 2010's co-favourites. USA (+1.0) is 9/4 and that doesn't look like a bad bet to me. I don't see Brazil running up a huge score here as the USA will try to keep it tight and fairly straightforward for the majority of the match. You can back USA and Draw on a double chance at 9/4 as well and that gives American fans a bit more protection, especially if they manage to get off to a good start. Brazil to win both halves is the bet to make if you're looking to back the Samba Boys. Brazil/Brazil pays 10/11 while Draw/Brazil pays 3/1. USA/Brazil pays 20/1 and Brazil/USA pays a massive 80/1. Brazil are 4/6 to be ahead at half-time while the US carry a 13/2 price. A half-time draw is 7/5. The favoured correct score is 2-0 Brazil at 11/2 with 1-0 at 13/2. 2-1 USA pays out at 22/1 and I think that's their best shot at a correct score. 3-2 USA isn't totally out of the question and that pays out at a titanic 75/1. Landon Donovan is 7/2 to score anytime while Jozy Altidore pays out at 4/1. Connor Casey pays 9/2 while Curtis Davies is listed at the same price. Clint Dempsey is 5/1 and Demarcus Beasley is 7/1 alongside Freddy Adu. Luis Fabiano is odds-on to score at 10/11 while Alexandre Pato pays 11/10. £56 million-pound man Kaka carries a 6/4 score alongside Robinho. Nilmar is 13/8 while Julio Baptista is 9/5. I'm tipping the US to put up a good fight and I wouldn't be surprised to see a slim scoreline. I think the US will get on the scoresheet and I'm looking at Donovan or Altidore to do the business. Kaka's price on a hat-trick is 28/1.
