USA VS SLOVENIA 2ND HALF WORLD CUP 2010 ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

We told you that today was shaping up to be a wild day! Much-fancied USA is currently a goal behind to the determined Slovenians and the European side look good value to hold their lead. Personally, I don't see too much promising play from the Americans and they will seriously need to step it up for the second half.

If America don't win this match then their clash with Algeria is a must-win situation. Even then it may not be enough in the end, they still need to try to push on. Slovenia currently top the group with three points and if England beat Algeria as expected and Slovenia hold on to win this one then the final match between England and Slovenia will determine who goes through as group winner.
As it currently stands in this match Slovenia are trading at a 1.12 margin to win the match shortly before half-time. The draw is priced at 6.5 while the USA's odds to win are trading at a lengthy 17.0 price. Compare that to America's pre-match odds of 2.1 and you realize that they now have it all to do.
The bookies are giving the slightest of edges to the USA in the Next Team to Score market with America at 2.2 and Slovenia at 2.5. No more goals trades at 4.0.
Milivoje Novakovic is the most likely player to score next according to the bookmakers- that doesn't bode well for the United States. You'll find the Slovenian priced at 8.0 while Jozy Altidore is priced at 8.5 to get the next goal. Robbie Findley is priced at 11.0 while Clint Dempsey trades at 10.0 alongside Landon Donovan.
Both teams to score in the match remains priced at 1.66. Should Slovenia shut out the USA, you're looking at 2.0.
I think the USA have the calibre and quality to at least snatch a draw here, but they need to play much more organized football and start carving out serious chances- especially from set-pieces. A long-range shot and a goalkeeper mistake can only take you so far.
