Wednesday Champions League Betting Preview
- By A.J. Ryder on November 21, 2017 21:19 GMTThere’s plenty of interesting action set to unfold in the Champions League on Wednesday with several top clubs in action against each other. Tuesdays fixtures saw some really interesting outcomes and a massive blowout for one of the tournament favourites Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich are away to Anderlecht and they can be backed at a price of around 3/10 to get the away victory - this is one that will probably be a popular accumulator wager for a number of neutral punters. Anderlecht are an 11/1 shot for the victory while the draw trades at 11/2.
Juventus take on Barcelona in a contest that virtually everyone will be looking forward to. This is one of those match-ups that could easily read as the tournament final next May and nobody would be genuinely surprised. The Spanish side seem to be getting slightly favoured by the bookmakers with an 8/5 price tag right now against the Italians at a 2/1 listing.
Few would be surprised to see the 5/2 draw pan out, as well.
Manchester United are away to FC Basel and they are priced around even money to get the away win even though it looks like they already have the group sown up for the most part. Look for FC Basel at a solid price of around 7/2, while the draw is sitting at 3/1.
Atletico Madrid are also trading around even money to get the better of AS Roma and the Italians are a lengthy 7/2 to get the outright victory here - this is a tough one to separate on paper, though Atletico have proven they can take on virtually anybody on their day.
