Weekend English Premier League Betting Tips PT 1

There is another round of English Premier League action coming our way this weekend and things are starting to get really interesting - particularly in the race for the third and fourth Champions League spot as a resurgent Liverpool have to face off against the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.

It’s definitely becoming an increasingly interesting situation at Old Trafford as Louis Van Gaal is now actively deflecting rumours that he is set to leave the club at the end of the season with Carlo Ancelotti supposedly lined up by the Manchester United brass. While things have definitely not worked out as easily as they looked when Van Gaal helped United sweep their pre-season tour and optimism was high, you have to say that rumours of the Dutchman’s departure are probably significantly premature. 

United will face off against Spurs on Sunday as they begin a tricky run of matches over the next couple of weeks that will likely make or break their season. Since they were knocked out of the FA Cup by rivals Arsenal, Louis Van Gaal must qualify for the Champions League by securing at least fourth spot. 

You’ll find the Red Devils coming into the match as the betting favourites with a 10/11 price tag putting them at odds-on right now. It will be interesting to see how the odds will fluctuate prior to the match itself but the 3/1 price on Spurs is probably pretty decent for many neutral punters - particularly when you consider the type of form that Harry Kane has been in recently. 

The draw is sitting at an 11/4 price and that would probably be viewed as a semi-acceptable result by both clubs but you reckon they both think they can genuinely win this one.
