Weekend Premier League Preview PT 1

We've got another massive weekend in store in the English Premier League as we seek out another round of fixtures to try to earn a bit of dosh from. Things kick off with a big contest as Manchester United play host to defending Premier League champions Leicester City in the noon time fixture on Saturday.

There is a lot to like about this one and we are already getting down to crunch time for Manchester United as they have put together an all-too-familiar string of underwhelming performances in the past few weeks with a number of their big money signings failing to keep their early season momentum going.

This has already manifested itself in the fact that United have lost a fair amount of points at an early stage in the season but the priority is stopping the bleeding and Mourinho was able to make some headway with a deserved 3-1 victory at Northampton Town, but beating out Northampton shouldn't be what United are aspiring to.

The bookmakers do seem to be pretty confident in Manchester United's ability to get the victory here against Leicester City and the majority of bookmakers are listing them at a 3/4 margin to get the victory here in 90 minutes.

It's going to take the likes of Marcus Rashford getting a start here to really make the difference and it must be said that it's odd that Mourinho has decided not to start the flashy and consistent goalscorer who has bailed out United several times already this season. A big improvement is needed and many expect it from him already at this stage – you have to wonder what that says about the likes of Paul Pogba.
